Several companies have openings in their technical publications departments.
To submit an entry, your company name, web address or contact, city
and state or province, and the titles of the openings you want to list.
Lynn McManus, a technical recruiter supporting the Microsoft Windows
Server team, is seeking
candidates for a number of new technical writing and editing positions on their
team. These
opportunities are open to qualified ACM SIGDOC members. They are seeking very
experienced
(5 yrs min) and very technically grounded professionals (able to read and code
in C/C++), who
have previous experience working with server and security technologies. These
are full-time
direct positions, not contract. For more information, contact Lynn McManus, Contingent

Help wanted from the National Writers Union:
Employers can post offsite freelance technical writing positions to
our Hotline for no charge. There is a nominal fee of $65 to list a staff
position for one month. Over 1500 Hotline users, most of whom are technical
writers, view our postings. If you look at our web site, you will see
that we only showcase a few jobs at a time. National Writers Union members
would contact the employer directly about a position they want to pursue.
The employer negotiates and contracts directly with the writers because
the Hotline is not involved in the agreement.
We update the Hotline weekly and writers check the listings daily. To
submit a job, employers use the job listing form on our web site: www.nwu.org/hotline
