Areas of Special Interest
SIGDOC emphasizes the following areas of special interest to its members:
- design, development, and dissemination of online and hardcopy
information;
- user-centered design and activity-centered design of communication
and communication technologies;
- usability engineering;
- content management;
- technical communication processes and products; and
- pedagogies, practices, research, and theories relevant to any of
these areas.
