Presentation Abstract

Industrial Strength Hypermedia in a Pervasive Computing World - Adapting Organisations to Meet the Challenge

The particular theme of this year's conference is "Desiging and Documentation for Pervasive Information," reflecting the paradigm shift towards pervasive computing, and the new design methods and ideas that will be needed to face this. The talk will weave together Dr. Hall's personal work on hypermedia design, look forward to the future of hypemedia systems, and link it to the increasing diversity in ideas of the role of IT professionals (to link with the BCS ideas on its development).
